Deepanjana Pal is a Mumbai-based author and journalist. She's written about art, literature, films and gender for both Indian and foreign publications like The Atlantic, The Caravan, Vogue, India Today and Buzzfeed. She is the author of ‘The Painter’, a critically-acclaimed biography of the Indian artist Raja Ravi Varma and her novel ‘Hush A Bye Baby’ is a feminist thriller that has received praise from critics as well as general readers. Deepanjana has previously worked with Time Out Mumbai, DNA, Firstpost and Newslaundry, and is presently the Associate Editor at Hindustan Times.
