Denys Pilash is a Ukrainian political scientist, translator, and activist affiliated with the democratic socialist organization Social Movement (Sotsialniy Rukh). Based in Kyiv, he is also a lecturer in political science at Taras Shevchenko National University and a founding editor of the journal Commons: Journal of Social Criticism, which focuses on left-wing analysis of politics, economics, and culture. Pilash is recognized internationally for his commentary on Ukrainian and Eastern European politics, contributing to discussions on social justice, democracy, and labor rights, and has written for or been cited in a range of global publications and research forums.
