Derek B. Gayle is a professional writer (believe it or not), professional actor, a playwright of two local stage productions, and author of Monsters Adulting, a humor/coloring book. He was homegrown in rural Virginia, and currently enjoys the thriving and insufferable hipster-craft-beer culture of Richmond. As a kid, Derek spent much of his free time designing the seasonal schedule for his own imaginary television network, which explains a lot.When he’s not podcasting, Derek keeps busy making video essays, l, playing D&D, and being unable to escape his two cats who constantly beg to be pet. Other interests of his include Power Rangers, theatre, dragons, werewolves, and melodramatic teen soap operas. With a degree in English Literature and a focus in Film and Journalism, Derek is happy to use his experience to talk a bunch about Venom’s butt.
