Desus Nice, born Daniel Baker on May 18, 1981, in The Bronx, New York, is an American comedian, television personality, and author. He gained fame as one half of the comedy duo "Desus & Mero," alongside Joel "The Kid Mero" Martinez. The duo first garnered attention with their popular podcast The Bodega Boys, which led to their critically acclaimed talk shows on Viceland (2016–2018) and Showtime (2019–2022). He has also written for television and made appearances on various platforms, further establishing his voice in entertainment.
