Dr. Richard Flacks is an activist and professor emeritus of sociology at University of California, Santa Barbara. His many writings on U.S. social movements include Making History: The American Left and the American Mind (1988). He hosted a weekly radio show, ​“Culture of Protest” at KCSB and hosts the podcast, Talking Strategy, Making History.
