Cameron Blevins is an Associate Professor, Clinical Teaching Track in the History Department at the University of Colorado Denver, where he teaches courses in US History and digital humanities. He is also part of the Digital Studies Certificate, an initiative to help students develop computational skills while critically exploring the relationship between those technologies and wider society. Cameron's historical research focuses on the nineteenth-century U.S., the western United States, and the American state. His forthcoming book, Paper Trails: The US Post and the Making of the American West (Oxford University Press, 2021), uses digital mapping to uncover the full reach of the nineteenth-century postal network and the ways it shaped the western United States.
