Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Manchester. Mel is a second year post-doc performing Multi-omic studies on multiple types of dementia in order to determine whether they work with similar mechanisms, but with different regional vulnerabilities. In her free time Mel is an avid reader (especially Discworld!), she also enjoys going to the gym, and loves boardgames.
