Drew Hinshaw is a journalist, currently covering Europe as Senior Reporter for the Wall Street Journal. Previously, he covered West Africa for a decade for the WSJ.Hinshaw has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize six times. He has written for the New York Times Magazine, Time, Al Jazeera, the Atlantic and Rolling Stone. His first book, "Bring Back Our Girls," was published in 2021.Hinshaw majored in Recorded Music at New York University. Before becoming a journalist, he worked as a music critic.
