Dr. Ebony Victoria Flowers is an author, cartoonist, and educator. Flowers's work has appeared in The Paris Review, The New York Times, and The New Yorker. Her graphic novel, "Hot Comb," was published in 2019. Flowers received her B.A. in Applied Biology and Anthropology from the University of Maryland College Park, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
