Elina-Alem Kent is a journalist and producer at Kyiv Independent.Kent hosts the Kyiv Independent's weekly podcast "Media in Progress," which follows the ex-Kyiv Post journalists as they create an independent English media organization in Ukraine.Before the Kyiv Post was shut down, Kent was at the lifestyle desk, where she covered Ukraine's music and art scenes. She also produced the Kyiv Post's podcast.Kent received her degree in International Relations from Boston University.
