Ella Nilsen is a journalist. She currently works for Vox Media, covering Congress and Congressional Democrats.
Before working for Vox, Nilsen worked at the Concord Monitor newspaper in New Hampshire, where she covered Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump in the 2016 primary. Prior to that, she was a staff reporter at The Keene Sentinel, where she covered the health and city beats, focusing on heroin and prescription drug addiction and recovery.
Nilsen received her B.A. in history from the University of St. Andrews.
