Dr. Emily Buddle is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Humanities at the University of Adelaide, where she leads the Food Values Research Group and contributes to projects within the ARC Training Centre for Future Crops Development. Specializing in the social, cultural, and ethical aspects of agricultural production, food, and science, she employs creative and qualitative research methods to explore agri-culture. Before returning to academia in 2022, she worked in the public and private sectors as a project and policy officer and agricultural extension specialist, building expertise in communication, facilitation, and project management. In addition to her academic career, she is a farmer, managing a sheep, beef cattle, and grain business with her family. Balancing research, farming, and motherhood, Dr. Buddle continues to bridge academia and real-world agricultural practices, contributing to industry and scholarly discussions on food production and rural life.
