Dr. Emily Trunnell is a scientist. Currently, she is the Director of Science Advancement and Outreach, a division of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). She works on issues related to science policy, scientific publishing, and STEM education, promoting the uptake of non-animal biomedical research methods in place of poorly translatable experiments on animals.
