Pattee's reporting about climate change has appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, WIRED, and Newsweek. Her fiction has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review, Idaho Review, New Orleans Review, Carve Magazine, Citron Review, and Alaska Quarterly Review. Her first novel, "Animal Sounds," will be published in 2025.
