Eric Jay Dolin is an author who writes nonfiction history books, often about on maritime topics, wildlife, and the environment.
Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Dolin was a fisheries policy analyst at the National Marine Fisheries Service, a program manager at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, an environmental consultant, an American Association for the Advancement of Science writing fellow at Business Week, and a curatorial assistant in the Mollusk Department at Harvard's Museum of Comparative Zoology.
Dolin's first book, "The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service," was published in 1989. He has published 14 books.
