Dr. Eric Reeves is a researcher and journalist who specializes in politics and human rights in Sudan. Currently, he is a Fellow at the Rift Valley Institute. He is considered an expert on Darfur, and has testified several times before the U.S. Congress, lectured in academic settings, and served as a consultant to a number of human rights and humanitarian organizations operating in Sudan.
In addition to academic articles, Reeves's work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. His first book, "A Long Day's Dying: Critical Moments in the Darfur Genocide," was published in 2007.
