Erik Wemple is a journalist, currently working as a media critic for The Washington Post. Previously, Wemple was the editor of the alternative weekly Washington City Paper. Before that, he was Washington correspondent for Inside.com and CableWorld magazine. Wemple was raised in Niskayuna, New York. He received his B.A. from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
