Erika Christakis is an educator and writer who specializes in early childhood education. Currently, she is a reading tutor and educational consultant for preschools and child care facilities.
Previously, Christakis was a Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Yale Universtiy, where she taught undergraduate courses in child policy, early childhood education, and child development.
Christakis's work has been published in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, TIME.com, CNN, and The Boston Globe. Her first book, "The Importance of Being Little: What Young Children Really Need From Grownups," was published in 2016.
