Eugie Foster was an American short story writer, columnist, and editor. She wrote the "Writing for Young Readers," column for children's literature and young adult literature writers. She was a contributor to and the managing editor of Tangent Online and the managing editor of the magazine The Fix. She was also a director of Dragon Con and editor of its online newsletter, "The Daily Dragon."
Foster's stories appeared in Fantasy Magazine, Realms of Fantasy, Orson Scott Card's InterGalactic Medicine Show, and Interzone, and were collected in anthologies. Her collection of short stories, "Returning My Sister's Face and Other Far Eastern Tales of Whimsy and Malice," was published in 2009.
Foster died in September 2014.
