Back in 1988, before Frank Sasso became an animator, he worked for a TV broadcast equipment manufacturer in Paramus, NJ. “It was my job to demonstrate the equipment to potential buyers at trade shows,” says Sasso, “as well as product manage a system called ‘The videoDesigner' a graphics editing platform which was WAY before Photoshop.” When the company decided to expand their services, a spot opened up to lead their art and animation department. Frank grabbed the position.Since then, he has been the chief remote penciller for Stimpy from the children’s television series, “The Ren & Stimpy Show,” was animation supervisor for 3 Cheetos commercials featuring Chestah Cheetah, and has trained Disney animators on animation techniques for such movies as “The Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid.” He is also an award-winning podcaster and is a contributing member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) in which he holds 3 "Member Excellence" commendations for his industry articles to the organization and is a long-standing member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE).Frank is passionate about BRANDING. "The 3 most effective ways to get your brand out there," says Sasso, "is with an app, a podcast, and a strong social media presence. I don't believe it's going to happen any other way without those 3 things in place. The other side of that is, if you have those things in place and have a weak brand, you'll turn people off. So, it's important to have everything lined up and working correctly. That's where I come in". Frank and his wife, Christina Sasso founded New Pod City, a full-service podcast company, in Trenton NJ. They are award-winning podcasters who also host a few podcasts themselves. Trenton Waves is one of those podcasts.Frank also serves as director of character development at G Force Creative, LLC which is both a world-class producer of animated & fixed content and a trusted resource for top-shelf animation for all platforms. The G Force team is known for their thoughtful development skills, technical knowledge, sleek production pipeline, and broad range of creative styles. G Force is currently in development with "The Legends of Valdoria", "Mabel's Monsters", and "Space Orphans."Frank and Christina also teach a mixed martial arts inspired group fitness class together every week. "My wife makes me look like I'm sleeping", says Sasso. "I'm constantly amazed at her stamina, fitness level, and instructor ability. Christina would never start a fight, but she sure will finish one. She's a true inspiration to her classes and a real badass as well."Frank lives in Trenton, NJ with his wife, Christina, and their 2 dogs, Zoe and Bella.
