Dr. Gabrielle Emanuel is a journalist who primarily reports on health and social welfare. Currently, she is a senior health and science reporter at WBUR. Emanuel started her journalism career at NPR, then as a reporter at GBH. Emanuel’s work regularly appears on NPR’s "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered," and she has reported for "Planet Money" and "Code Switch." Her work has appeared in The New York Times and The Atlantic. Emanuel received her B.A. from Dartmouth College and her Ph.D. in Social Policy from Oxford University.
