Garnet Henderson is a freelance journalist who has reported extensively on reproductive health, abortion access, telemedicine, and health disparities. Her work has appeared in publications including VICE, WIRED, Glamour, Scientific American, Elemental, the Guardian, and others. Born and raised in Wyoming, Garnet has a particular interest in access to healthcare in rural areas. She is a graduate of Columbia University cum laude and has lived in New York City since 2009. Her guide to abortion care was recognized with a 2018 Deadline Club award as part of a VICE (then Tonic) healthcare guide package. She is the host and creator of ACCESS: A podcast about abortion.
