I went back to the vault and found this episode. It was initially a 2 part series but I am going to release as one episode.  I also would like to admit that I made a mistake  during the intro of the podcast episode which Sam was correct during the podcast  This is an episode which was initially intended to be titled as  a screen writer and Sam and I chatted with B. Mark Seabrooks. We talked about being a bartender, making a good Bloody Mary and the idea of making good art without the bad art. We talked about the "production studio" language and how he got rid of his ego in thinking "Drama is art" by relating to his father's job. We talked about race and writing with authenticity and how character is not as much as we think it may be.  Not Again Podcast Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/notagainpodcast/ Not Again Podcast website: https://www.notagainpodcast.com Not Again Podcast iTunes Page: https://apple.co/2Idkbbj Not Again Podcast Spotify page: https://spoti.fi/2lAKjnr Not Again Podcast Stitcher Page: http://bit.ly/2m5HECx
This week, I am going back into the vault and found an episode that I had with a guest that was featured very recently, Umar Rana.  This episode, I remember having a chat with Umar Rana talking about what is it like to be a banker and working in a bank environment. Coming from a banking background, Umar Rana talked about the conversation topics that bankers have. The idea of working in a bank and how the media portray the stereotype of working in a bank and finally get everything right. He mentioned about the stress level working in a bank and how it had affected different people and molded to be in a different person. Of course we also discuss about how much money can a person get working in a bank and the career trajectory as a banker.
I went back into the vault and found this episode which follows the format that when I first started podcasting.Sam, Donovan and I were discussing about being a fitness instructor. I wondered why fitness instructor isn't a job that got phased out by an app and suggested how Shia LeBouf replacing the job of fitness instructor and there is when the drama between Sam and Don happened in this episode. Sam is shocked that there are fat fitness instructor while I talked about trying to be inspired a before fat and now lean fitness instructor. We explore the reason why there might be fat instructor and drinking beer after the game. Sam finally justified the reason for fitness instructor to exist with Marvel movie being mentioned and how fitness instructor has played a major role in Hollywood.
I went back into the vault and manage to find the episode that I talked to a firefighter a few years ago We all have thought about it, the heroic actions of a firefighter come barging in saving us from a fire that sounds like fantasy and our guest from this episode Ashwin tells us if he had been into a burning building, the types of fire and the dangers of being in a burning building. We try to understand what happens in a suicide situation for the fireman will be and how that created a PR situation due to ignorance of a bystander as well. We of course talk about the stripper pole in the fire station and the crazy story that he had met with the firing of gun (in Singapore?! WHAT?) before doing this episode. I also learnt that we had the fire station open house and what happened during the open house.
