Geoff Powter is a clinical psychologist with a forensic assessment practice in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. A veteran of thirteen climbing expeditions to the Himalaya, Powter has worked for many years with Outward Bound. He is a contributing editor for Explore magazine, former editor of the Polar Circus Magazine and the Canadian Alpine Journalist.
