Dr. George Mish Marsden is a historian who specializes in the interaction between Christianity and American culture, particularly on Christianity in American higher education and on American evangelicalism. Currently, he is a Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame.Marsden is best known for his biography of the New England clergyman Jonathan Edwards, "Jonathan Edwards: A Life," which was published in 2003.
