Gretchen C. Morgenson is a journalist, known for her Market Watch column for the Sunday Money & Business section of The New York Times. Currently, she is a Senior Financial Reporter for NBC News Investigations.
Previously, Morgenson was a Senior Special Writer for The Wall Street Journal. In 2002, she won the Pulitzer Prize for her coverage of Wall Street.
Morgenson's first book, "The Woman's Guide to the Stock Market," co-authored with Barabara Lee, was published in 1982.
Morgenson received her B.A. in English and History from St. Olaf College in Northfield MN.
