Han Ong is a playwright and novelist. Ong was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at 16. His first novel, "Fixer Chao," was published in 2001, and his second novel, "The Disinherited," was published in 2004. He has written 14 plays. His work addresses themes of outsiderness, cultural conflict, and class conflict.
