Heath Havey is an expert on Japan lore, history, law, language and culture. For over 30 years, he has researched Japan, practice law in Japan, translated and edited books about Japan, acted as interpreter for groups, and negotiated and litigated cases in Japan. He holds a B.A. in Japanese (1995) and a J.D. (1998). He was licensed to practice law in Japan in 2003 and was chief editor of a leading treatise on Japanese laws. He taught bilingual doctoral classes in Tokyo for many years.
