Heather Christle is a poet and author. She is an Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at Emory University.
Christle's work has appeared in Elle, The Guardian, the London Review of Books, The Nation, The New Statesman, The New Yorker, Poetry, and The Best American Poetry. She is the author of five books of poetry: "The Difficult Farm," published in 2009, "The Trees the Trees," published in 2011, "What Is Amazing," published in 2012, "Heliopause," published in 2015, and "Paper Crown," published in 2025. She has published two nonfiction books, "The Crying Book," published in 2019, and " In the Rhododendrons: A Memoir with Appearances by Virginia Woolf," published in 2025.
