Heather studied Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham for their undergraduate degree, before moving to King’s College London for a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuroscience, and they stayed there ever since. In Heather's spare time, they love to make tapestries and do embroidery – working in computational genomics means they constantly have to be doing something with their hands!
Heather is a PhD Student undertaking analysis of next-generation sequencing data using bioinformatics and machine learning to advance personalised medicine approaches in ALS / MND.
