Heidi Schreck is a playwright, screenwriter, and actor. She is best known for her play, "What the Constitution Means to Me."
Schreck's first play, "Creature," debuted in 2009. Her following plays include "There Are No More Big Secrets," "The Consultant," and "Grand Concourse." She has also written episodes of the TV series "I Love Dick," "Nurse Jackie," and "Billions."
Before becoming an actor and writer, Schreck was a journalist in St. Petersburg, Russia. Before that, she taught English in Siberia. She has also taught playwriting and screenwriting at NYU, Columbia, Kenyon College, and Primary Stages.
Shreck received her B.A. in English and Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon.
