Holly Carmichael is a vocal advocate for accessibility and inclusion for those with disabilities. She is frequently a speaker at conferences both nationally and internationally. Often, she works directly with leaders in health care to promote improved care and outcomes for people with disabilities and long-term care needs. Holly is a member of the Applied Self-Direction Government Policy Executive Think Tank and is also a board member of CDG Care and Maggie’s PMM2-CDG Cure. One of her proudest accomplishments is being the driving force behind the design and development of the first ADA-compliant playground in St. Joseph County, Michigan.When she isn’t leading day-to-day operations at GT Independence, she enjoys game nights with her family, being a foodie, reading murder mystery novels, and golfing.
