Dr. Ian Steven Lustick is a political scientist who specializes in the modern history and politics of the Middle East. Currently, he is Chair in the department of Political Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. An expert on the Arab-Israeli conflict, he published or edited twenty books on Middle East politics and international affairs and has lectured at universities in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. He is a founder and past president of the Association for Israel Studies.
