Jack Jenkins is a journalist and national reporter for the Religion News Service, where he covers religion and politics. Prior to starting at RNS, Jenkins was Senior Religion Reporter at ThinkProgress. His work has appeared in the Washington Post, Atlantic, Associated Press, and National Catholic Reporter. Jenkins's first book, "American Prophets: The Religious Roots of Progressive Politics and the Ongoing Fight for the Soul of the Country," will be published in 2020. Jenkins received his B.A. from Presbyterian College and his Master of Divinity from Harvard University.
