Jack Shenker is a journalist who reports on radical politics and protests. He has covered Gaza, Africa, Central Asia, the United States, Britain, and Europe. Previously, Shenker was the Egypt correspondent for the Guardian, where he covered the 2011 revolution and Arab uprisings. Shenker's work regularly appears in Granta, the New York Times and the London Review of Books. His first book, "The Egyptians: A Radical Story," was published in 2016. His second book, "'Now We Have Your Attention: The New Politics of the People," was published in 2019.
