Jamie has been a fan and lover of the Blues since his childhood when he first heard the Blues over WAOK by disk jockey, Piano Red and later talking his way into The Royal Peacock night club to see Jimmy Reed, Bettye LaVette and other Blues Greats perform in their prime. He also went to the Blue Lantern drive-in to see and hear Blind Willie McTell play for the customers in the Lantern’s parking lot.
