Jay Schottenstein is the Chairman and CEO of American Eagle Outfitters and the Chairman, President, and CEO of Schottenstein Stores Corporation. Schottenstein is also the Chairman and CEO of American Signature, Executive Chairman of Designer Brands, and Chairman and CEO of SB360 Capital Partners, amongst other leadership roles.Aside from his accomplishments in retail, Schottenstein contributes to many academic and charitable organizations. He and his wife, Jeanie, endowed the Schottenstein Prize in Cardiovascular Sciences at Ohio State University. He also serves as a director of the Columbus Development Corporation and the Columbus Partnership.In 1985, the Schottensteins founded the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Foundation, which funds many of their charitable endevaors including the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Center For Behavioral Health at Mount Sinai Medical Center and The Jeffrey Schottenstein Program for Resilience at The Ohio State University.
