Dr. Jeffrey L. Hoopes is a Research Director at the University of North Carolina Tax Center. His work focuses on how taxpayers respond to tax laws and changes in tax enforcement. He examines issues at the intersection of accounting, public economics and finance. He is also the Chief Curator of The Tax Museum. Previously, Hoopes taught accounting at the University of North Carolina. He has also taught at The Ohio State University and at Fisher College of Business.
