Jennifer Keishin Armstrong is an author and freelance writer. She is the author of "Pop Star Goddesses" (2020), "Sex and the City and Us" (2016), "Seinfeldia" (2016), and "Mary and Lou and Rhoda and Ted" (2013).
Armstrong's work has appeared in BBC Culture, The New York Times Book Review, Vice, New York magazine, and Billboard.
Prior to becoming a full-time author, Armstrong was an adjunct professor at Columbia University. Before that, she was an entertainment reporter for Entertainment Weekly for ten years. Before that, she was a reporter for The Press Enterprise.
Armstrong is a co-founder of the website SexyFeminist.com, an alternative women's magazine. She co-hosts the podcasts "#Authoring" and "Pop Literacy."
Armstrong received her B.Sc. in journalism from Northwestern University.
