Jerry Stearns is co-founder, with Brian Price, of Great Northern Audio Theatre, a production company with a focus on lighthearted and comic original stories. He has hosted the audio drama show "Sound Affects: A Radio Playground on the FM radio station KFAI in Minneapolis since 1994.
Stearns began his career at KFAI in 1979, producing the science fiction talk radio show "Shockwave." He also wrote original scripts, which were produced by Midwest Radio Theater Workshop, Shockwave. He founded the Twin Cities Audio Theater Workshop in 1997. He hosted live radio show "The Mark Time Radio Show" from 1996 to 2014.
