Jesse Alejandro Cottrell is an audio journalist. Currently, he is a producer for the Vox show "Today, Explained." He produces music as part of the duo Brumblehag. Previously, Cottrell was a reporter and podcast producer for Vice News. His work has appeared in The California Magazine, Vice Magazine, and The Atlantic. He has produced radio stories for NPR's "Latino USA," and was an associate producer on the PBS documentary "By Blood."
