Part of the comedy duo Shirley and Shirley, Joanna is a half Palestinian, half Irish party starter turned knackered earth mother. When she’s not performing and fooling around with the Longer Shirley, she sits alone in a room and writes. Her semi-autobiographical pilot ‘The Other Mother’ was shortlisted for Funny Women’s ‘Best Comedy writing Award’ and she recently wrote a few lines on a big U.S romcom due for release later this year. Joanna will ingest anything that promises her bag-free eyes and eternal youth. And snacks. She loves to snack.
