Dr. John M. Curatola is a U.S. military historian, whose research focuses upon World War II, airpower, and the early Cold War period. He is also a retired Marine Corps officer. Currently, he is a historian at the National World War II Museum. Curatola's first book, "Autumn of Our Discontent: Fall 1949 and the Crises in American National Security," was published in 2022.
