John Huey is a is a journalist and publishing executive. He was the editor-in-chief of Time Inc., at the time the largest magazine publisher in the United States, overseeing more than 150 titles, including Time, People, Fortune, Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly and InStyle.
Before joining Time, Huey had been the editor of Fortune, Atlanta bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal, and founding managing editor, and later editor, of The Wall Street Journal Europe.
Huey co-authored the autobiography of Sam Walton, "Sam Walton: Made in America," which was published in 1992. He also hosted the podcast "Garden & Gun's The Whole Hog."
