John Mayer is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. His debut album Room for Squares (2001), which included the hit single "Your Body Is a Wonderland," earning him a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Mayer's subsequent albums, such as Heavier Things (2003), Continuum (2006), and Battle Studies (2009), with Continuum winning the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. In addition to his solo career, Mayer is known for his collaborations with other artists and for fronting the blues-rock band John Mayer Trio. He has also served as a touring member of Dead & Company since 2015, where he showcases his deep appreciation for the Grateful Dead's music.
