John Schaust is a naturalist with a who manages natural resources, with a focus on birds. He is an avid birder, and has been a federally licensed bird bander for almost three decades. Currently, he is the Chief Naturalist for the retailer Wild Birds Unlimited. Previously, Schaust was a professional naturalist with federal, state and local agencies, specializing in environmental education, nature center operations and natural resources management. Schaust received his B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Ball State University.
