Jonathan Mahler is a journalist and author. Currently, he is a writer for The New York Times Magazine. Mahler's first book, "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Bronx Is Burning," was published in 2005. His second book, "The Challenge: How a Maverick Navy Officer and a Young Law Professor Risked Their Careers to Defend the Constitution--and Won," was published in 2008.
