Jonathan Trimble is co‑founder and CEO of Bawn, a cybersecurity firm built by former FBI agents focused on helping organizations—especially financial services firms, earnergy companies, and healthcare organizations—reduce cyber liability, meet regulatory requirements, and scale securely.
With over 25 years of experience as a Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI, Jonathan led national-level investigations into cybercrime and financial fraud. He also served as CTO for the FBI’s Information Management Division, where he oversaw transformational projects including the agency’s \$220 million Central Records Complex and analytics platforms used across its 40,000‑person workforce.
Jonathan holds a B.S. in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a Master’s in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, and a Master’s in Systems Architecture & Engineering from USC. He also completed the Carnegie Mellon CISO Program and has served on prominent cybersecurity councils, including ACT‑IAC's Cyber Community of Interest.
