This week, we discussed the 1985 Best Picture winner, Amadeus. Even though we enjoyed the movie, we spent very little time discussing it during this episode for some reason. Instead, we came up with two cinematic crossovers, "That's so Raymond" and "My mom's got a date with a vampire's daughter". We also bashed some bottom-tier Food Network shows and Molly attempted to learn Italian. Get ready for some good goofs in this episode!
Folks, it has been a while since we had this large of a reaction to a film we've watched for this podcast. I won't say any more than that, so as not to spoil the surprise. Here is our episode on the 1959 Best Picture-winning movie, Gigi.
Sorry for the late post, but we had a few concerts to go to this week! This is our first episode in a while that is actually about a best picture winning movie. Out of Africa was a little slow to start, and a bit anti-climactic for us, but we both enjoyed it overall and thought that the performances by both Meryl Streep and Robert Redford were superb. We hope you enjoy us returning to our best picture roots, and we will return next week with our episode on Gigi. Thanks for listening!
Happy Halloween everyone! We're uploading a day early in celebration of the holiday and we've got the ultimate Halloween movie to close out the month with, Halloween! Yes, we watched the 1978 classic slasher film that has been terrifying teenagers for over 40 years. We both really enjoyed it and even had a good laugh at parts. We hope you have a spooky Halloween and thanks for listening! P.S. Here is the link to our Patreon page if you would like to support the show patreon.com/manwomanmovieThanks!
