Junot Díaz is a writer and writing teacher. Currently, he is a professor of creative writing at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Previously, Díaz was a fiction editor at Boston Review. Díaz's first book, the collection "Drown," was published in 1995. His first novel, "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao," was published in 2007. His third book, the collection "This Is How You Lose Her," was published in 2012. Díaz received his B.A. in English from Rutgers University and his M.F.A. from Cornell University.
